Purpose of the processing

The data you provide will be stored and processed for the purposes mentioned on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 letter b) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 letter a) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 7 GDPR.

Measures within the company

All our employees who process personal data are trained in accordance with the GDPR and are obliged to comply with data protection requirements in accordance with the principles of the GDPR for the processing of personal data, as set out in Art. 5 para. 1 GDPR.

Use and disclosure of personal data

Personal data is not transferred to third parties.

Except: Data will only be transferred to public authorities, such as law enforcement agencies or tax consultants, if there is a legal obligation to do so. Data will only be transferred to third parties if this is necessary and legally permitted for the above-mentioned purposes or if you have given your prior consent. Furthermore, we are obliged to transfer data to official recipients in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 c GDPR in the event of mandatory background checks. In the case of employment of applicants from third countries, data is transferred to the central foreign and specialist placement service.

Duration of storage

The storage period of your personal data depends on the statutory retention periods or on the existence of any consent you may have given.

Right to information

You have extensive rights with regard to the processing of your personal data. It is particularly important to us to familiarize you with these rights:

Right to information: You have the right to information about the data stored by us, in particular the purpose of the processing and how long the data is stored (Article 15 GDPR).

Right to rectification of inaccurate data: You have the right to obtain from us without undue delay the rectification of inaccurate personal data concerning you (Article 16 GDPR).

Right to erasure: You have the right to request that we erase the personal data concerning you. These conditions stipulate that you can request the deletion of your data if, for example, we no longer need the personal data for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed, if we process the data unlawfully or if you have legitimately objected to it or if there is a legal obligation to delete it (Article 17 GDPR).

Right to restriction of processing: You have the right to request that the processing of your data be restricted. This right exists in particular for the duration of the review if you have disputed the accuracy of the data concerning you and in the event that you request restricted processing instead of erasure in the case of an existing right to erasure. Furthermore, processing will be restricted in the event that the data is no longer required for the purposes pursued by us, but you need the data to assert, exercise or defend legal claims and if the successful exercise of an objection is disputed between us and you (Article 18 GDPR). Right to data portability: You have the right to receive the personal data concerning you, which you have provided to us, in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format (Article 20 GDPR), provided that it has not already been erased.

Right of objection: You have the right to object, on grounds relating to your particular situation, at any time to processing of personal data concerning you (Article 21 GDPR). We will stop processing your personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights and freedoms, or if the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.

Google Maps

This site uses the map service Google Maps via an API. The provider is Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA.

To use the functions of Google Maps, it is necessary to save your IP address. This information is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. The provider of this site has no influence on this data transfer.

The use of Google Maps is in the interest of an appealing presentation of our online offers and to make it easy to find the locations specified by us on the website (specialist dealer search). This constitutes a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

Data protection information in the application process

We process the applicant data only for the purpose and in the context of the application process in accordance with the legal requirements. Applicant data is processed to fulfill our (pre-)contractual obligations in the context of the application process within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b. GDPR Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR if the data processing becomes necessary for us, e.g. in the context of legal proceedings (in Germany, § 26 BDSG also applies).

The application procedure requires applicants to provide us with their application data. If we offer an online form, the necessary applicant data is marked, otherwise it is derived from the job descriptions and generally includes personal details, postal and contact addresses and the documents belonging to the application, such as cover letter, CV and certificates. Applicants can also voluntarily provide us with additional information.

By submitting their application to us, applicants consent to the processing of their data for the purposes of the application process in accordance with the type and scope set out in this privacy policy.

Insofar as special categories of personal data within the meaning of Art. 9 para. 1 GDPR are voluntarily communicated as part of the application process, their processing is also carried out in accordance with Art. 9 para. 2 lit. b GDPR (e.g. health data, such as severely disabled status or ethnic origin). Insofar as special categories of personal data within the meaning of Art. 9 para. 1 GDPR are requested from applicants as part of the application process, their processing is also carried out in accordance with Art. 9 para. 2 lit. a GDPR (e.g. health data if this is necessary for the exercise of the profession).

If provided, applicants can send us their applications using an online form on our website. The data is transmitted to us in encrypted form in accordance with the state of the art.

Applicants can also send us their applications by e-mail. Please note, however, that e-mails are generally not sent in encrypted form and applicants must ensure that they are encrypted themselves. We therefore cannot accept any responsibility for the transmission path of the application between the sender and receipt on our server and therefore recommend using an online form or sending by post. Instead of applying via the online form and e-mail, applicants still have the option of sending us their application by post.

The data provided by applicants may be processed by us for the purposes of the employment relationship in the event of a successful application. Otherwise, if the application for a job offer is not successful, the applicant's data will be deleted. Applicants' data will also be deleted if an application is withdrawn, which applicants are entitled to do at any time.

The deletion takes place, subject to a justified revocation by the applicant, after a period of six months so that we can answer any follow-up questions about the application and meet our obligations to provide evidence under the Equal Treatment Act. Invoices for any reimbursement of travel expenses are archived in accordance with tax law requirements.

 

Integration of third-party services and content

On the basis of our legitimate interests (i.e. interest in the analysis, optimization and economic operation of our online offer within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f. GDPR), we use content or service offers from third-party providers within our online offer. When the social media element is active, a direct connection is established between your device and the Instagram server. Instagram thereby receives information about your visit to this website.

Insofar as personal data is collected on our website using the tool described here and forwarded to Facebook or Instagram, we and Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbor, Dublin 2, Ireland are jointly responsible for this data processing (Art. 26 GDPR). The joint responsibility is limited exclusively to the collection of data and its transfer to Facebook or Instagram. The processing by Facebook or Instagram that takes place after the transfer is not part of the joint responsibility. According to this agreement, we are responsible for providing data protection information when using the Facebook or Instagram tool and for implementing the tool on our website in a manner that is secure under data protection law. If you assert data subject rights with us, we are obliged to forward them to Facebook.
